Excellence in Giving Adds Key Personnel to Serve Growing Client Base

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - May 04, 2007 - Excellence in Giving LLC, a full-service philanthropic advisory firm, today announced that Thor Iverson has been named Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Iverson will be primarily responsible for managing the growth of Excellence in Giving’s client service operations. “Thor brings tremendous talent and passion to help Excellence in Giving serve its growing client base. He has a remarkable list of accomplishments and will be a great asset as we manage the growth of Excellence in Giving,” said Al Mueller, President of Excellence in Giving.

Mr. Iverson brings more than twenty years of senior management experience to Excellence in Giving. He served as an executive for several technology firms including Echelon Corporation, BeAtHome.com, Amity Technology, Concord, Inc., and Great Plains Software, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2001. Mr. Iverson has extensive international business experience in Russia, Ukraine, and Scandinavia. He received his MBA from Stanford University and is a graduate of North Dakota State University.

Excellence in Giving also announced the departure of Rebecca Hove, vice president of client services, who is leaving the company to join the staff of one of Excellence in Giving’s clients, Bridgeway Charitable Foundation, in Houston, Texas. Mr. Mueller said, “We wish Rebecca the very best in her future endeavors and appreciate the significant contributions she made to Excellence in Giving, especially her leadership in implementing and leading new client service standards and initiatives. We look forward to continuing to work with Rebecca in her new role at Bridgeway.”

The firm announced the addition of Craig Glass and Karen Baxter Rodman as client service advisors. “Both Craig and Karen have long and distinguished careers helping families make wise decisions,” said Mr. Mueller. “They are true professionals in every sense of the word, and our clients will benefit from working with them.”
